In connection with the levee raising project, the District will be installing sheeting piling along a section of the levee adjacent to Rabbs Bayou and the wastewater treatment plant. The project is expected to take 7 to 10 days to complete.
While the contractor will make every effort to mitigate the noise as much as possible, the installation process will be noisy. Properties close to the installation site will experience noise pollution during regular business hours from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We recognize this may be temporarily inconvenient, but believe it is in the best interests of the District and the residents protected by District facilities.
